Location
Balatonfured – located on the Northern shore of Lake Balaton surrounded by slopes – is famous not only for its pleasant Mediterranean-like climate, excellent wines and curative springs, but also for its bustling cultural life. Balatonfured was already inhabited in the Roman Ages. Its name was first mentioned in the estate registration of the Tihany Abbey in 1211. The town awaits its visitors all year long with various programs, monuments and museums. The Loczy cave is worth visiting, you can also take a refreshing walk in the neighbouring slopes. Balatonfured is situated 123 kilometres from Budapest, it can be approached on Motorway M7, then Main Road 71.
Apartment Hotel
The cosy apartment hotel was erected in 2003. Parking is possible in the garage of the hotel (upon charge). Wireless Internet access is at guests’ disposal in the lobby. The Deak Cellar Restaurant can be found in the park of the hotel to offer a special place for a delicious lunch or dinner, it is suitable for organising family or business gatherings. Guests can choose from the delicacies of the international and Hungarian cuisine made in the show kitchen. Drinkbar (all year long) and an intimate terrace (during the summer period) offer recreation. The staff happily assist you in organising different programs (e.g. wine-tasting).
