Hajnal Hotel ***
Location
Mezokovesd is situated in North-Western Hungary, between Bukkalja and the Hortobagy plain, about 130 kilometres far from Budapest. The region of the town is also called Matyoland. The well-known Zsory Thermal Bath is only 150 metres far from the hotel, it has natural thermal water. Due to its calcium, magnesium, hydrogene and hydro-carbonate content, it is adequate for curing rheumatic illnesses, arthritis, gynecological illnesses, injuries and for the rehabilitation of different surgeries. Mezokovesd is famous for its folk art, festivals, churches, the Agricultural and the Kis Janko Bori Museums are worth visiting. Eger lies only 15 kilometres far from the town, Miskolc-Tapolca 45 kilometres.
Hotel
The hotel used to operate as a cosy guesthouse, but the expansion and the refurbishment of the building – in 2004 – became necessary due the popularity of the accommodation. The restaurant and the complete medical section were fully renovated. The pretty hotel offers rooms on 3 floors all year round, elevator available. Guests arriving by car can use the parking lot of the hotel free of charge. The restaurant is at guests disposal between 12:00 pm and 22:00 pm with Hungarian, vegetarian and dietetic meals and with live music, it is suitable for events of maximum 120 participants. The modern wellness section offers recreational possibilities and an up-to-date medical department. Other services: baby-sitting service, safe (free of charge at the reception), fax, photocopy, program organising, gift shop. The conference room has basic equipment (Flipchart, overhead projector, video projector, slide projector, video player, laptop and computer on request) and a total capacity of 60 persons. Pets are not allowed.
Rooms
The rooms have the size of 10 square metres, and equipped with a balcony, bathroom (bathtub / shower), bathrobes, hairdryer, television (Hungarian, English, German and Polish satellite channels), telephone, LAN Internet access free of charge, minibar and safe. The floor is covered with parquet, carpet. A number of rooms are air-conditioned, but guests can also stay in rooms which have traditional ventilation fan. Nonsmoking and disabled rooms can be requested. Room service between 6:00 am and 20:00 pm.
