Location
Zalakaros is situated in the South-Western part of Hungary, 220 kilometres from Budapest, in the vicinity of Lake Balaton. The town has a 750-year-old history, its main attraction is the bath, which has more than 5000 square metres water surface during the summer period. The town can be approached easily by car or public transportation.

Hotel Karos Spa ****, built in 2004, awaits guests all year round on 5 floors with 4 elevators. Besides various wellness and medical services, the hotel provides a private beach, but children will neither be bored as they can attend several child programs (e.g. slide-show, postcard making) led by trained nurses and animator. Parking is possible in the underground garage and the open-air parking lot of the hotel (both for cars and buses). The restaurant offers a wide range of meals from the Hungarian, international, dietetic and modern cuisine, it provides live music in the evening. The hotel also has an intimate café, boat bar and grill garden. All rooms are airconditioned and pervaded by cosy atmosphere. The Spa Senior suite consists of a living room (with a couch) and a bedroom, there is a corner bathtub and also a shower in the bathroom. The Spa Superior apartroom has a living room (with a couch) and a bedroom, there is a corner bathtub and also a shower in the bathroom, its speciality is the thermal water. The Spa Superior family rooms are ideal for bigger families as they have a bedroom (with a double bed), a living room (with a couch and a double bed), a bathroom, a hall and a balcony. The Baby apartments are to satisfy the needs of a family (who arrive with small children), as they are equipped with a babycot, baby bath, diaper changing table, feeding-bottle warmer and play carpet. Non-smoking, disabled and allergic rooms are available. Room service upon request.

The conference and section rooms are suitable for various events: the Pool-Vitamin Boat, the restaurant and the Gala 1-2 conference rooms (max. for 300 persons) are for bigger events, while the the Golden, Jonathan and Starking section rooms for events of 15-20 members.
