Location
Szilvasvarad is an old village on the Western side of the Bukk Mountains. This area has been populated since ancient times and not only the nice builings but the beautiful hills, caves, valleys and waterfalls make it one of the most popular landscapes of Hungary. The Bukk National Park is also the home for several protected trees, flowers and animals.
Hotel
The recreation village was opened in July 2006. The central hotel building includes 27 double rooms and 4 apartments (for 5 persons each). If you would like to enjoy a higher level of comfort you have to choose one of the 13 apartment houses where 4, 6 or 8 guests can be conveniently accommodated. Pets welcome.
Rooms
Each of the rooms (24 sq metres) are air-conditioned and equipped with television, radio, telephone, minibar and Internet access (free of charge). The bathrooms have shower or bath tub and hair dryer. In the mansard rooms the couches can be transformed to beds. Room amenities are the same as in standard rooms. The suite (80 sq metres) consists of 2 spacious rooms and a balcony. The living room with kitchenette can be used as a meeting room. The bathroom has a jacuzzi.
Apartmenthouses
Their equipments are the same as in standard rooms. The living room has a fireplace and a kitchenette with fridge, cooking unit and microwave oven. The apartmenthouses also have nice terraces.
