Location

Zalakaros is situated in the South-Western part of Hungary, 30 km far from Lake Balaton. The city has a 750 year-old history, its main attractions are the bath and spa facilities, which await guets with more than 5000 square metres water surface. The city can be approached easily either by car or means of public transportation.

Mendan Thermal Hotel **** - which was buit in 1998, and renovated in 2006 – offers the following services: 24-hour reception, internet access in the lobby (Hotspot service), souvenir shop, newspapers, elevators, restaurant, café, cocktail-bar, guarded parking lot. Dogs and cats welcome (only in the apartments).

Rooms

All rooms and apartments are air-conditioned and equipped with bio-beds, bathroom (with shower or bathtub), hairdryer, plasma television (with satellite channels, Pay-TV), radio, internet access, minibar and safe. All rooms and apartments – except for the standard double rooms – have a balcony and children-friendly equipment (such as diaper changing table, baby cot and bathtub for babies), non-smoking rooms are available (only in the room types mentioned above). The speciality of the luxury superior and the deluxe rooms is the multifunctional jacuzzi. Room service available 24 hours a day.
